- William Wolke, CEO of Victoria Teachers Credit Union; and
- Scott King, CEO of Qantas Staff Credit Union.
Don Magin and William Wolke are joining the Board for the first time, whilst Scott King has been a director since 2007.
They join other Abacus Directors Larry Anthony, Chair of the NCUA; Greg Connor, CEO of Savings & Loans Credit Union; John Minz, CEO of Heritage Building Society; Tony Ryan, CEO of Big Sky Credit Union; Margot Sweeny, CEO of the Summerland Credit Union; and Chris Wright; President of Friendly Societies of Australia.

“I am honoured to have been chosen by the Board to be the Abacus Chair for what will be an exciting year,” said new Abacus Chair, Andrew Saxby.
“There are great opportunities ahead for credit unions, building societies and friendly societies and mutuals are well placed to capitalise on their strength. Along with the Abacus Board, I look forward to working to support our members as they offer Australians an competitive and friendly alternative to large profit-driven financial institutions.” said Mr Saxby.
